Talod Handwa Mix
Handvo is baked dish of Gujarat made from various dals and rice, sesame and spices. It is often made with a bottle gourd filling, though a lot of other vegetables can be added. It is a part of the Gujarati Cuisine. Talod Handvo Mix is a baked spicy lentil cake made with rice and different lentils fermented batter mixed with spices. To serve instantly as an evening snack or night meal Talod Handvo Mix is the best option
It can be baked instantly and can be served by garnishing with sesame seeds mustard seeds cumin seeds chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves to have a great taste. You can serve them with chutney, tomato ketchup and with a cup of tea. How to Prepare Take the Handwa mix in a vessel, add 50gm curd, 40gm oil, 4 cups of(600ml) water in it, mix it well to make a paste. keep it aside for 10minutes. Heat 50gms of oil in a small vessel or non stick pan and add mustard seeds, cumin, sesame, dry red chilli to make a seasoning mix. Add the paste into the seasonin mix and keep it covered on a low flame and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Now turn the sie=de of the mix and cook it another 10minutes, Handwa(spicy cake) is now ready to serve
